How many cherries are contained in ong>ong>Cherryong>Activeong> Products?
Each ong>946ong>ong>mlong> bottle of ong>ong>Cherryong>Activeong>’s cherry juice ong>Concentrateong> contains the juice of around 3,000 individual ong>Montmorencyong> tart cherries (about half a tree’s worth!). Each capsule contains the powder from around 100 cherries, therefore around 6,000 cherries per 60 capsule tub.
Should I take ong>ong>Cherryong>Activeong> ong>Concentrateong> or Capsules?
The choice is really up to personal preference. Some customers prefer the ong>Concentrateong> as it makes a pleasant-tasting juice and helps to increase the water intake. It also absorbs quickly into the bloodstream. Other customers prefer the convenience of the Capsules (for storage and travelling). The Capsules contain less carbohydrate per serving than the ong>Concentrateong>, although the absorption rate is usually less with a powder than a liquid.
They also contain virtually no carbohydrate.Both products are equally effective.
Can diabetics take ong>ong>Cherryong>Activeong> Products?
CA ong>Concentrateong> contains 21g of natural fruit sugars per 30ong>mlong> serving. ong>Montmorencyong> cherries have a low Glycemic Index (GI) score of 54 (any score less than 5 is considered low) thus producing only a mild rise in blood sugar levels. Our Dried Cherries have a moderate GI score of 58. ong>ong>Cherryong>Activeong> Capsules contain less than 0.5g of carbohydrate per capsule, so may be more appropriate for diabetics to take.

How to Mix ong>Cherryong> ong>Juiceong>
ong>Cherryong> active recommends a 1 part concentrate to 7 parts water mixture. Simply pour a two tablespoon (30ong>mlong>) serving of concentrate into a half pint glass and top up with water. Some customers add a splash of lemonade, ginger or some ice cubes. Our cherry juice is not only full of health giving properties - it also tastes delicious!
How much to drink
Most ong>Cherryong> Active customers are on a routine of drinking half a pint of mixed juice each day. Most customers take a recommended serving of 30ong>mlong> of cencentrate. Each bottle contains ong>946ong>ong>mlong> of concentrate, which therefore provides a full month's supply, at the recommended daily serving.
