Three tablets a day of this supplement contain all the important nutrients your body needs to prepare for labour. It contains Zinc, an important element in hormone production, and extra Iron to safeguard your reserves and to meet the demands of your baby. (90 tablets - 1 month's supply)
The Third Trimester (28 - 40 weeks)
In the third trimester your blood volume increases by 40 percent, your pelvic joints expand and your breast tissue develops. Your baby is growing faster than at any other time in your pregnancy, doubling in size, increasing nerve cells, strengthening bones, maturing lungs, immune system and digestive tract, and laying down stores of fat, iron, and calcium. Brain cells are multiplying faster than at any other time in his or her life.
This new formulation of Vital Essence 3 is designed to meet all these needs and to help ensure you keep as fit and healthy as possible in preparation for labour, birth, and breast-feeding. We've increased the amount of Iron in the new formula, as well as levels of Vitamin D and Vitamin B3 and six other previous ingredients. More Choline has been added, to help with the production of healthy cell membranes, as well as Iodine, Co Q10 and Folic Acid. There's plenty of totally new ingredients here too. We've added Beta Carotene, to continue to help protect against possible Vitamin A deficiency and cell mutation, as well as Lutein, Lycopene, Alpha-Lipoic Acid and Pomegranate and Grapeskin Extracts, to help protect against free-radical damage to cells.
Take one tablet (with or after food) three times a day.
Vital Essence 3 is suitable for both vegetarians and vegans. It is free from artificial colours, preservatives and gluten and is certified non-GM. Contains yeast.
Please note: due to the slightly higher level of Vitamin K in Vital Essence 3 (increased to help further with blood-clotting factors in preparation for the birth) women who are also taking anti-coagulants (blood-thinners) are advised not to use this formulation, as it can diminish their efficiency. Women to whom this applies should continue with Vital Essence 2 instead, which will still provide the large majority of the nutrients that are important for this final stage of pregnancy
